Every manufacturer cuts its own pattern, so an M from one maker can fit like an L from another. That is why every product on Raymon has a size chart with real garment measurements in centimetres. Learn to read it and you will rarely buy the wrong size.
Measure yourself
- Chest: around the fullest part, under the arms, tape level with the floor.
- Waist: where your trousers usually sit, not necessarily your natural waist.
- Hips: around the fullest part with your feet together.
- Length and sleeve: from the top of the shoulder by the collar, and from the shoulder point to the wrist.
Read the chart
The chart lists the garment, not the body, so it should be a little larger than you: about 4–6 cm for a slim fit, 8–12 cm for a regular fit and 15 cm or more for an oversized look. When the chart gives a chest width measured flat, double it.
The best trick
Lay your favourite shirt or trousers flat, measure the same points as the chart and pick the size whose numbers are closest. Still between two sizes? Choose the smaller one for stretch fabrics and the larger one for cotton or linen, and check what other buyers said about the fit.
